Alpine in trouble with regulations? More used than planned at start of the season'
If you look at the used parts of each team before every GP-weekend, you always notice one specific thing. Alpine has already used almost every exhaust allowed this year. They are currently on their seventh exhaust, where eight is the maximum allowed. Executive director Marcin Budkowski is not yet worried about possible grid penalties for exceeding the maximum number. "We had a problem at the beginning of the season which meant we could run limited on our exhausts, to avoid them breaking during the race," Budkowski reveals to Motorsport.com.
