Ticktum acknowledges hopes of F1 have faded: I struggled to be normal
Article To news overview © FIA F2 Dan Ticktum has acknowledged that his dream of reaching Formula 1 is now no longer likely to happen, a few days after the British driver was released from the Williams junior programme. Ticktum was dropped by Williams in the wake of a complaint from a member of the public, with the British driver then going on to make derisory comments about Nicholas Latifi's racing prowess on a live stream ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend. Ticktum has since spoken about how he is hopeful of continuing in Formula 2, where he races in the support series with the Carlin team.
