Sebastian Vettel understands why he may be seen as a 'hypocrite' for promoting environmental awareness, but 'forbidding' is not the answer. The four-time former World Champion is becoming increasingly active in initiatives which look to tackle environmental issues, recently helping to build a bee hotel in Austria with schoolchildren during his free time between the Styrian and Austrian GPs, as well as getting involved in litter picking after the British Grand Prix. And right at the start of the 2021 season he inspired a flypast at the Bahrain Grand Prix powered by fully sustainable fuels, following his complaints over the test flights which were taking place during pre-season testing.
