Alonso gives his take on the Hamilton and Verstappen collision
Article To news overview © Formula 1 Fernando Alonso feels the Lewis Hamilton's and Max Verstappen's collision on the opening lap of the British Grand Prix was a racing incident. The championship protagonists fought each other very hard through the first nine corners before coming to blows at Copse. Hamilton was awarded a 10-second time penalty but went on to win the race whilst Verstappen was sent to hospital to be checked.
