Horner ‘cannot believe’ that Mercedes won’t develop 2021 F1 car

Despite suffering a fourth consecutive defeat to Red Bull as Max Verstappen dominated the Styrian Grand Prix, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff reiterated that Mercedes would continue to stick to its development plan for 2022 and would not be introducing any more upgrades to its 2021 challenger. Mercedes has now fallen 40 points behind Red Bull in the constructors’ championship, while Verstappen holds an 18-point advantage over Lewis Hamilton in the drivers’ standings.
