Ricciardo: I think it was a productive Friday for sure
Daniel Ricciardo was clearly pleased with his performance in free practice on Friday ahead of the Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. The Australian has not made quite the start to life at McLaren that he would have wanted, but managed to impress in FP2 in particular today, ending the session second quickest with only his former Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen ahead. Whether he can maintain such sparkling form come qualifying time on Saturday remains to be seen, although Lando Norris' podium performance at this circuit last season should offer the McLaren team some hope.
