On this day: Brothers stand first and second on F1 podium for the first time

The 2001 Canadian Grand Prix, was a thrilling affair in its own right. While it was Michael Schumacher who had managed to put his car on pole, it was his younger brother Ralf who won the race after a better-executed strategy gave the Williams driver a comfortable victory. Michael would finish in second meaning the race would be the first time two brothers would finish first and second in a Grand Prix.
