FIA president Todt draws comparison: 'The world sees it in a second'

Lewis Hamilton has not only shown himself in recent years with his world titles, he has also been quite active off the track. The Englishman is committed to the movement 'black lives matter' and shows his involvement in many other ways. Jean Todt thinks this is a good thing. The FIA president sees that Hamilton's calls are attracting a lot of publicity. "Fifty years ago Lee Evans made a fist at the Olympics. Now you make a gesture and the world sees it in a second on social media," he says in an interview with Corriere dello Sport. "He's a champion, he knows it, and he's giving messages.
