Hamilton not dwelling on poor weekend: We don't take it lightly

Article To news overview © Mercedes Lewis Hamilton has said that there's no point to feeling depressed about how Mercedes' Monaco Grand Prix unravelled, after the reigning Champion lost the championship lead after only managing a seventh place finish. With Red Bull and Max Verstappen capitalising on Mercedes' poor showing to snatch the lead of both championships, Hamilton admitted that the team just simply hadn't performed to their usual standard. Having said to Ziggo Sport that the team had 'lessons to learn' immediately after the race, Hamilton's stance had softened as he spoke to media afterwards.
