How good is the new generation? "Don't know if it matters much what I think"
Lewis Hamilton finds it difficult to indicate how good the current generation of drivers in Formula 1 is. What is certain is that he considers Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc to be among the young, strong talents. To the question of AS Verstappen whether he is his natural successor and the next one to take the world title, Hamilton answered prior to the Monaco Grand Prix: "I don't know. There is a good group of young talent here. If he gets the chance, Lando [Norris] has huge potential for me as well, and also Charles [Leclerc]. I can't predict which of them will lead the sport."
