Sainz happy and proud but mixed feelings: Doesn't taste as good as it should

Article To news overview © Ferrari Carlos Sainz was thrilled to have finished second in Monaco for Ferrari, having started from third place. The Spaniard benefitted from a pitstop issue for Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas that forced the Finn out of the race. Sainz was hugely frustrated to have missed out on the chance of pole position, but said his podium finish was of great solace after keeping Red Bull under pressure for the win. "It's a good weekend, I mean, if you would have told me before coming to Monaco that I would finish second I would have definitely taken it!" Sainz said during the podium interviews.
