Tanabe: Clear Red Bull F1 teams performing at higher level
Article To news overview © Honda Red Bull and AlphaTauri have both had a strong start to the 2021 F1 season, with Max Verstappen looking a serious title contender this year in the RB16B. The cars had improved substantially with upgrades towards the end of last season, but the Red Bulls seems to have knocked things up another gear for 2021. Much of the praise for the performance has gone toward the new Honda power unit, and in a statement ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend, Honda F1 chief Toyoharu Tanabe has said both teams are performing at a higher level this season.
