Alonso eyeing more points in Barcelona

Article To news overview Fernando Alonso has not had his dream return to the Formula 1 grid. The former world champion made his return to the F1 paddock this season after two seasons away from the sport with Alpine, but struggled to find his rhythm in the first two races of the year. There was significant improvement last time out in Portugal, as the driver finished seventh behind teammate Esteban Ocon after Alpine added several upgrades to the car, and Alonso will be looking to carry that form on into this weekend's race in Barcelona. In a statement ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix, Alonso said he was looking forward to returning to racing in his home country and hopefully scoring points...
