When Verstappen was still laughing on the radio: "It wasn't easy!

Two laps before the end of the race , Max Verstappen went for his second pitstop at the Portimao circuit. The Dutchman had enough of a margin to pit for new rubber and go for the fastest lap of the race. The Dutchman set the fastest time of the day (just like Saturday in qualifying) but once again the stewards intervened. Verstappen's time was deleted because he had exceeded the track limits in turn fourteen. He was unaware of this when Gianpiero Lambiase told him on the radio that he had set the fastest time of the day.
