Coverage of F1 2020 Bahrain GP up for BAFTA nomination

The 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix has been included on the list of nominees in the Sport category alongside England V France: The Final of Autumn Nations Cup, England v West Indies Test Cricket and the 2020 London Marathon, with the winners announced on 6 June. Last year’s Bahrain GP was remembered best for Romain Grosjean’s huge fiery crash that caused the race to be suspended on the opening lap as the Haas driver speared into the barriers at Turn 3. The force of the 119mph, 67G impact with the barriers caused Grosjean’s car to split in two before it quickly became engulfed in flames.
