F1's reserve class 2021: Who are each team's reserve drivers?
Article To news overview © Racing Point Each team has to keep in mind the possibility that, for whatever reason, sometimes drivers are simply unable to take part in a race. Sometimes it's through injury, like Romain Grosjean missing the final two races in 2020 due to his Bahrain crash. On that occasion, Haas called up their reserve Pietro Fittipaldi. Sometimes it can be for a race suspension, or even a driver walking away from a team. Think back to 2013, when Kimi Raikkonen left Lotus early in order to have some back surgery.
