Domenicali: Never say never to further US-based races

Formula 1 boss Stefano Domenicali has said 'never say never' with regards to adding further US-based Grands Prix to the schedule in future. The sport announced the addition of the Miami Grand Prix last week, meaning that the 2022 season will include two races in the USA. The Circuit of the Americas has hosted a race since 2012, although it was cancelled last season due to COVID-19. Asked about the prospect of further US rounds being added to the calendar, Domenicali said: 'America has given us a lot of opportunities, a lot of interest but we do believe the right approach, after one grand prix, is to have a second.
