Alonso shoots off track in warm-up lap, rough conditions in Imola!
The wet conditions at Imola have claimed their first victim already. Fernando Alonso spun off at the slowest corner of the circuit, shooting off track and into the wall. He eventually managed to keep his car rolling and return to the pits, but it is a signal that it is extremely slippery in Imola. The drivers are now allowed to do some laps on the circuit, before they have to drive to their starting position. Several drivers choose the full wets, but also some drivers took the intermediates to warm up. Alonso could safely return to the pits, for a new wing and new tyres.
