Mazepin: The Haas isn't tricky in general

Article To news overview © Haas Haas' new signing Nikita Mazepin believes his VF-21 isn't trickier than other cars to drive, but that his own lack of experience in certain situations is catching him out. The Russian driver brought out the red flags at the end of the first practice session at Imola, crashing his Haas after running wide into the gravel out of the final corner. This followed on from an early spin in the session at the same spot, from which he recovered. Having crashed out of his first race last time out in Bahrain, managing just two corners before losing control, Mazepin believes he still has a lot to learn.
