Construction imminent on new Aston Martin base

Aston Martin will begin work on their new state-of-the-art factory 'imminently' following confirmation of their purchase of new land. The team, which transitioned from Racing Point over the winter break, had originally planned to be up and running in their new facility at Silverstone midway through this year. But those plans were put on hold due to Covid-19 and the team said last July that their new aim would be to open in mid-2022, later predicted to be ready in August of that year. While there has been no new update on the timescale of the project, it has now been confirmed construction work will start very soon following their reported multi-million pound purchase of land from farmer...
