Di Resta hopes Verstappen-Hamilton controversy sets precedent

Article To news overview © Red Bull Content Pool / Getty Images There was no shortage of controversy at the Bahrain Grand Prix, and former F1 driver Paul di Resta hopes the incident involving Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton sets a precedent for the rest of the season. With four laps left in the race Verstappen went off track in Turn 4 in an attempt to pass the Mercedes driver. The race stewards eventually asked the Dutchman to yield his position, handing the victory to Hamilton. Speaking about the incident after the race, Paul di Resta hopes the incident sets a precedent that will be followed for the remainder of the season.
