FIA to begin additional scrutineering of one random car

Article To news overview © FIA Race stewards will carry out further examinations of one randomly selected car at each Grand Prix from now on, after a Technical Directive was handed down by the FIA. The new Technical Directive was handed out to teams last week, and serves as an addition to the already existing technical regulations. From now on, Technical Delegate Jo Bauer will randomly select a car at each Grand Prix for a full disassembly. This will include conformity checks, and evaluation of all onboard software and systems. Additional checks will also be able to carried out on the other car belonging to the team selected. These checks are on top of the routine checks already carried...
