Mercedes' statement on Twitter for International Day against Racism

When the debate about racism in Formula 1 flared up last year, Mercedes was probably the most outspoken team in the campaign against it. Lewis Hamilton was leading the way, but the bosses at Mercedes also took it so seriously that they painted the car completely black. On the International Day Against Racism they take the lead again. Not by taking to the streets to demonstrate, as is happening in many cities today, but with a comprehensive statement on Twitter. In it, the team says they want to contribute to a "global culture of respect and equality," with a photo of the race team kneeling below.
