Red Bull copies Mercedes: Verstappen with special rear axle in 2021

Red Bull Racing and Ferrari have opted to drive with the Mercedes concept in terms of rear axle in 2021. Toto Wolff's team was very successful last season with the idea of resting the rear axle support arm between the gearbox housing and the crash structure. The special construction allowed Mercedes to optimize its speed in the slow corners. In addition to improved aerodynamics, it also provided a greater mechanical advantage. Red Bull and Ferrari are convinced of the added value and seem to have deployed their two tokens at the back of the car to be on par with Mercedes.
