Aston Martin technical director’s shot at Perez

The Aston Martin AMR21 Aston Martin technical director Andrew Green believes Sebastian Vettel’s driving style will allow for more consistent results than his predecessor, in a veiled swipe at Sergio Perez. Perez spent the past seven seasons at what was then known as Force India/Racing Point, finishing every one of those campaigns inside the championship’s top 10. None were more productive than his 2020, in which he took a long-awaited maiden race win and placed fourth overall, despite missing two races due to COVID-19.
