Alpine signs former Red Bull F1 racer

Daniil Kvyat Former Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat has been snapped up by Alpine as reserve driver for the 2021 Formula 1 season. The Russian joins the squad formerly known as Renault after a two-year stint with AlphaTauri (nee Toro Rosso). The 26-year-old lost his drive at the end of last season in favour of Yuki Tsunoda at the Red Bull feeder team, leaving him without a race seat for the coming year.
