AlphaTauri focuses updates on new nose, suspension

AlphaTauri has explained where it has opted to spend its development tokens on the AT02 amid the freeze in car development for 2021. Last year, it was agreed to delay the new technical regulations until 2022, while a halt was placed on car development from 2020 to 2021 in order to cut costs. However, teams have two tokens to spend to update its design from last year, with AlphaTauri opting to allocate its focus on a new nose and a re-designed front suspension. As a result, AlphaTauri will carry over the same rear suspension and gearbox design from 2020, which it takes from sister team Red Bull.
