Mercedes fires up its W12

Mercedes has become the latest team to fire up its 2021 challenger. With the start of the new season less than six weeks away with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 26-28, Mercedes has revved its W12 E Performance into life. Article continues under video The designation 'E Performance' refers to the technology label to be used in future product names and badging on all Mercedes-AMG hybrid cars. The fire up comes just 12 days ahead of the team launching its car on Tuesday, March 2, which will mark the start of its bid for a record-extending eighth consecutive constructors' and drivers' titles.
