Aston Martin confirm 2021 car will have entirely new chassis

Aston Martin team principal Otmar Szafnauer has confirmed the team's first car this year will carry an entirely new chassis despite the supposed carryover of parts from last season. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic that severely affected F1 over the first part of last season, it was agreed that the introduction of new regulations would be delayed by a year to 2022 and there would be a freeze on last year's cars into this season in a bid to save money.
