AlphaTauri latest team to confirm 2021 F1 launch date

AlphaTauri has become the fourth Formula 1 team to confirm the launch date for its 2021 car. The squad’s Honda-powered AT02 will be unveiled on February 19. McLaren is due to be the first team to launch its car, the MCL35M, on February 15, with AlphaTauri now slotting in at the end of the same week. Alfa Romeo’s C41 is scheduled to be unveiled on February 22 while World Champions Mercedes has set a date of March 2 for its W12. Red Bull’s junior team was rebranded for 2020 as AlphaTauri, in a nod to the company’s clothing outlet, and unveiled a new colour scheme last February.
