Perez wasn’t happy at McLaren: "Not an easy place to be"

Sergio Perez can prove himself in a top team at Red Bull Racing next season. It's not the first time the Mexican has driven for a top team, although his first time with McLaren was not a great success. McLaren no easy place In the podcast Starting Grid on Motorsport-Total.com, Matt Bishop, former head of communications at McLaren, talks about Perez's time at McLaren. "McLaren is not an easy place to be," says Bishop, who also worked with Perez at the time. "It was not an easy place politically at the time."
