Mercedes announce Vesti as new junior driver

Mercedes has confirmed the signing of 19-year-old Danish racer, Frederik Vesti, to their junior driver development program. Reports emerged last week in Vesti's homeland that he was close to signing a deal with the Silver Arrows, and the reigning World Champions confirmed the news on Tuesday morning. 'I’ve dreamed of being a Mercedes junior and worked so hard for it, for so many years and that motivation has lifted me every single day,' Vesti said.
