Abiteboul says goodbye gratefully: 'There is a fine trajectory ahead'

Following the management changes announced for the new Renault F1 team, it was already clear that Cyril Abiteboul would have a different role in the new Alpine than team boss. However, it was announced on Monday afternoon that the Frenchman will be leaving the team as a whole in 2021. Abiteboul says goodbye. With the new road that Renault will take in 2021, the necessary changes in management will go hand in hand. Abiteboul would no longer be a team boss. The former team boss would become CEO of the Renault sports project. Now that that spot has been promised to Laurent Rossi, there seems to be no place at all for Abiteboul. There is talk of Marcin Budkowski as his replacement at Alpine....
