Williams to increase Mercedes alliance in 2022

Williams have confirmed that they will increase their technical partnership with Mercedes from the 2022 season. While the Grove outfit have used Mercedes engines since the start of the turbo-hybrid era in 2014, under the Williams family the team always prided itself on remaining an independent constructor, manufacturing all of its parts. But now under the ownership of Dorilton Capital, Williams have confirmed that they will increase their technical collaboration with Mercedes from 2022 to include the 'supply of certain transferable components'.
