Albon to contest "selected" DTM races
Red Bull reserve driver Alex Albon will compete in "selected DTM races" in 2021 when his services are not required by Red Bull. The Formula 1 team opted not to renew Albon's contract for 2021 following a difficult season, instead replacing the Thai-British driver with Sergio Perez. Article continues under video In a bid to ensure Albon at least gets some racing under his belt, Red Bull is allowing the 24-year-old to race in DTM this year as the German championship transitions from a touring car category into a GT3 sports car series.
