Marko does not expect Perez Verstappen to defeat: 'No one has succeeded yet'
The topic that was most discussed at the end of the season was of course the seat at Red Bull Racing next to Max Verstappen. He eventually went to Sergio Perez, but Helmut Marko explains that Alexander Albon was also close by. Fastest drivers Perez seemed certain of his seat at Aston Martin before 2021, yet he was told he could make way for Sebastian Vettel at the end of 2020 with a clause in his contract.
