Red Bull close to new engine deal: 'Then we can develop that engine'

Red Bull Racing is doing everything in its power to take over the engine project from Honda from 2022 onwards. Not all other manufacturers are ready yet, but according to Helmut Marko, a deal is on the way that can ensure that Red Bull gets its own engine. Red Bull engine Red Bull Racing has been active in Formula 1 for a long time and had successful years with Renault between 2010 and 2013. When Renault started to focus more on its own team, Red Bull needed a new engine deal. Honda came at the right time, but that is now pulling the plug.
