Vasseur: 'We will be tied to Ferrari until the end of 2021, but after that ...'

As a Formula 1 team, Sauber has a long history of working with Ferrari. Since the team's official name was Alfa Romeo, that collaboration has only grown closer, but Fred Vasseur emphasises that they are still an independent racing team. Before BMW joined Sauber in 2006, the team had been racing with Ferrari engines for years, that at the time bore the name of their main sponsor Petronas.
