Hamilton wants more diversity in F1: 'Making sure I can use my platform'
This year Lewis Hamilton was able to break records on the track, breaking Michael Schumacher's record of 91 F1 victories and equalling the German's seven titles. Not only was Hamilton important on the track, the Brit also played an important role off the track to try and increase diversity in F1. Hamilton also played an important role in the Black Lives Matter movement, which, according to the reigning world champion, had a major impact on his performance in 2020. "I had that extra drive in me last year to win those races. It was different driving than I've done in recent years," Hamilton said to The Independent.
