'Perez is not the miracle solution he is often suggested to be'
In Jan Lammers' review of the 2020 Formula 1 season, the former rider argues why Red Bull’s signing of Perez has not secured them a place as a serious contender for 2021, and speculates about the contributions that the Mexican driver could make to the team. Lammers states in the AD that the characterisation of Perez as the solution for Red Bull needs some nuance. He agrees that Perez is a good driver, but argues that the success of Perez should be seen in context.
