MotorsportWeek.com would like to wish its loyal readers a very Merry Christmas! It has been an extremely challenging year for the world and this festive season is likely to be different for many of us owing to the ongoing restrictions and measures in place across several countries and territories. Motorsport was not exempt from the pandemic, and suffered a hiatus of several months, but worked tirelessly to get championships up and running in vastly altered circumstances. The majority of events were held behind closed doors, lacking fans and atmosphere, but championships were able to keep going by taking vital precautions and applying protocols.
