Red Bull Ring has new multi-year deal, says Marko
According to Helmut Marko, a deal has been done ensuring that the Red Bull Ring will host Formula 1 races for years to come. The circuit, owned by Red Bull, has been a part of the calendar in each of the last seven seasons, hosting the Austrian Grand Prix. In 2020, it hosted the first two races of the season, with the Styrian Grand Prix completing a double-header to bring the sport back after the pandemic-induced hiatus. Marko says that by doing so, Red Bull made it clear how important they are to the sport, and that was a factor in the signing of a new multi-year contract for the venue. 'It's done.
