Verstappen rejected Mercedes: "I think we made the right choice at the time"
Max Verstappen is still completely happy with the choice for Red Bull Racing. That's what Raymond Vermeulen says in an interview this week. The manager of the 23-year-old Dutchman has no regrets whatsoever about the rejection of Mercedes in 2014 and the early extension of the contract with Red Bull Racing at the beginning of this year. "No, I think we made the right choice at the time", says Vermeulen when he is asked by Motorsport.com whether the Verstappen camp secretly regrets the rejection of Mercedes in 2014.
