Ferrari has to work harder for 2021: 'Other teams get an advantage through tokens'

In order to reduce costs for the teams as early as 2021, the FIA introduced a token system to ensure that development was limited for next season. However, a number of loopholes allow teams such as Racing Point and AlphaTauri to replace their gearbox and suspension without having to spend tokens. According to Mattia Binotto, Ferrari's team boss, this will play a role in the battle for third place next season. "We have limits in our development for next season, because of that token system.
