W Series announces eight-race schedule as part of F1 undercard

W Series has announced a provisional eight-race schedule for the 2021 season, its first year as a Formula 1 support series. The championship kicks off in June at Paul Ricard in France and concludes in October on the Mexican Grand Prix weekend, with a support race at Silverstone ahead of the British Grand Prix a notable inclusion. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the championship was cancelled in 2020 but will return next year as part of the Formula 1 undercard, alongside Formula 2, Formula 3 and the Porsche Supercup.
