Sainz 'willing' to join Abu Dhabi post-season test - with Ferrari

Carlos Sainz says the FIA's decision to open the post-season young drivers test in Abu Dhabi to experienced drivers means he is willing to take part, with new team Ferrari. The December 15 test caters to young drivers holding an F1 superlicence who have not competed in more than two Grands Prix. But Renault successfully requested an exemption to allow it to run new recruit Fernando Alonso. Furthermore, Alfa Romeo and Red Bull will also field cars for experienced drivers Robert Kubica and Sebastien Buemi, respectively. Sainz sees no reason why he shouldn't be allowed to take part in the one-day test with his 2021 team, Ferrari. "I'm willing to test for Ferrari," said Sainz....
