Vettel looks back on his debut: 'I haven't made much progress'

In an interview with Ted Kravitz, Sebastian Vettel looks back on an interview fourteen years ago. The young Seb was only nineteen years old at the time and was going to get into a BMW car. At 19 years and 53 days old, Vettel is the youngest driver ever to take part in a Formula 1 session. As a test driver of BMW Sauber, Vettel is driving the first free practice session of the Turkish Grand Prix. The German rider tops the first time list and thus makes a direct impression on the rest of the world. However, he has to wait another year for his real Formula 1 debut.
