Stroll: I don't know what happened
Racing Point driver Lance Stroll sought an explanation after his hopes of a first Formula 1 victory disappeared with a change of tyres in Turkey on Sunday. The Canadian finished ninth after starting on pole position for the first time, an outcome Stroll described as 'pretty terrible' and added, 'I don't know what happened. It's just I don't understand. 'We had so much (tyre) graining on the first set of intermediates that we decided to pit because we were just losing seconds a lap. I just don't know where that graining came from, it just happened instantly.'
