BREAKING: Lewis Hamilton is the WORLD CHAMPION of 2020!

Lewis Hamilton has done it again: At the Turkish Grand Prix, he became world champion for the seventh time, equaling the record set by Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher. Hamilton World Champion! Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas had to stay eight points ahead of the Brit to theoretically have another chance. For Hamilton, this represents another historic moment: He equals the record of no less than seven world titles of Michael Schumacher, with whom he is now on the same level. It is not yet official that the world champion will remain with Mercedes, although this is very likely. If he does indeed extend his contract, this could just mean an eighth world title in 2021.
