F1 releases provisional 2021 calendar

Formula 1 has unveiled its provisional calendar for the 2021 season, with a record 23 races on the schedule. Pending approval of the FIA's World Motor Sport Council, the calendar will see F1 return to a regular, global championship after the COVID-19 pandemic limited the sport to only races in Europe and the Middle East. Starting with the Australian Grand Prix on March 21, the season will run through to the Abu Dhabi GP on December 5.
